Cà rốt gọt vỏ cắt sợi, dưa leo rửa sạch cắt sợi. Kim chi và thịt xông khói cũng cắt sợi như cà rốt và dưa leo. Chuẩn bị những gia vị cần thiết và cơm nguội.
Cho dầu ăn vào đun nóng rồi phi thơm tỏi băm. Sau đó cho cà rốt, dưa leo và thịt nguội vào xào sơ. Sau đó cho 1 muỗng canh dầu hào vào xào cùng cho thấm.
Sau khi xào thấm nguyên liệu, cho cơm nguội vào xào cùng. Nêm 1 muỗng canh hạt nêm vào. Xào đều lại một lần nữa để cơm thấm hết gia vị.
